When ordered this was out of stock but the communication from Sherpa was excellent and received the goods about a week later. The compressor has all the bits and is ready to use. Inflation of the tyres is fast. I'd recommend spending the extra, steer clear of the Harbor freigth junk.

This winch has serious power. We are using the Sherpa tow truck winches for moving shipping containers. Pretty sizeable and high weight being dragged along. The motor barely gets warm. They are top dollar but the best quality you can get for this type of work.

Ordered a 20,000 pound winch. Received it in a little over two weeks. Would highly recommend this company.

I'd recommend getting this with any dyneema rope winches. You can't use a normal snatch block thats used on cable winches. Always good to have the option of a double line pull for when you're really stuck.

Have the winch mounted and operating. Havent needed to actually use the winch yet. It shipped quickly enough. Appreciate it

I'd recommend the Sherpa box air. As a newbie of offroad it's just easier to get everything you need come in a box. Everything works and is included...just connect the battery clips. Great work!

Excellent one piece build. A recovery point such as this is not something you want to cut costs on. Stick to known manufacturers that have quality control like sherpa and factor 55.

I recently acquired The Colt 12000lb Winch from Sherpa, and I must say it has proven to be a capable and reliable companion for my off-road adventures. This winch offers an impressive combination of power, durability, and user-friendly features that make it a valuable addition to any 4x4 setup. Easy to install as it bolted straight in where my old Warn was. Delivery was around 5 days. Overall a great experience and great product.

The quality is second to none. Great instructions, detailed with plenty of pictures. I mounted the Steed on a 2007 Ram 2500 with an ARB Deluxe bumper.
