I recently installed the synthetic rope Mustang on a 24 Gladiator. The Mustang is fairly compact and fit without issue. IMO this winch has some pretty good specs which was important. I was looking for light weight to power ratio. The 6hp motor along with a total weight with control box/ wiring, fairlead etc came to about 50lbs. The quality of the control box and water rating were good also. Shipping was super fast. The fairlead was dinged when package received and Sherpa sent a new one out quickly. No questions asked They stood by their product. Positive power cable fit but could be a little short on longer runs. Gladiator battery is toward back of engine bay but cable was just long enough. Have not had an opportunity to test the winch but am very satisfied with the 9500 Mustang purchase.

Just unpacked the winch and accessories. If this winch works half as good as it looks I'm happy, everything is well made the fit and finish is exceptional. Snatch block, soft shackles ect. are made very well. I will add to my review once my new bumper is in and the winch is installed.

Perfect for my 40' boat trailer, took the new one off that came on my new "Bad 2D Bone Trailer, All American BP 40-3XH" replaced it with the correct equipment. Could not have made a better choice in winches!

'Stallion' - 25,000Lb Winch

I got the big air almost a year ago and have been impressed with how well it airs up my 40" tires with a 4 way hose. After a day of off-roading I grabbed it to air up and it sounded horrid and made no air. Unknowingly to me, at the time the ring on the piston had come off and was banging around inside and made a mess. Once I got ahold of them via email I was asked to take it apart and show them what I found. They were very quick to respond and after seeing the photos wanted to send me a new unit. I was blown away and in less than two weeks a totally brand new one showed up at my door step. I can't say good enough things about their customer service and how great they are to work with when unexpected things happen. They took care of me and were quick to respond and for that they have gained a customer for life. Sherpa is top notch!!

Your product is every bit as advertise and then some! It’s one of the best on the market and I will definitely be doing business with y’all Again!

The portable air is AWESOME. It lives up to the hype the advertisements claim. The pump is the reason I give you a 5 Star rating.

The attachments....Not so much. I completely re-plumbed the hoses and the fittings. I would rate the attachments with a SINGLE STAR. Straight out the box the attachments leaked air so bad the pump could not maintain air pressure and the pump ran continuously as a result. I did a test it in the driveway to inflate a tire and the leaky air attachments failed miserably. The pump did what it could do compensate but the air loss was beyond reasonable. I am thankful I wasn't out on a trail. I would have been pissed and we would have had a completely different conversation. The confusing part was the actual hardware itself where the male/female connectors connected together were the reason for the loss of air pressure. At first I thought I had to add more plumbers tape. Nope! That wasn't issue, it was the connections. Were they bad parts? Don't know, Don't care! They are replaced.

I chose to spend the money for a reliable pump. Attachments, they come and go. After I swapped out the attachments this pump performed like a champ. I can not fault the pump for faulty attachments. I am actually planning on adding a larger air tank so I can run air tools while out on the trail.

came boxed nicely as ordered and strong enough to winch from my front hitch or rear hitch. It has high speed motor and is a pricless option.

The winch looks great. The aluminum piece that is separate from the winch where the winch line goes through was a scratched a bit. I have not been able to install and test yet but I have faith the winch will work good.

I use soft shackles every day in my recovery business. Sherpa Recovery equipment is made to a higher standard that the rest. I have used all of the brands and none last as long as Sherpa soft shackles. My soft shackles are in the sand and salt water, in the waves and across the beach. Baking in the sun and doing all again the next day.
